Selim Mouzannar

For Selim Mouzannar, jewelry is a story of heritage, light, and resilience. His carpet brings that same philosophy into the world of weaving, reimagining the lines of one of his iconic jewelry designs. Intricate yet bold, the piece translates the sparkle of gemstones into woven patterns, reflecting his lifelong passion for craftsmanship and his belief in beauty as a moral responsibility. This collaboration celebrates the kinship between jewelry and textiles—two crafts that honor patience, precision, and the poetry of detail.

Selim Mouzannar, born into a family of jewelers in Beirut, discovered his love for gemstones in his father’s workshop before studying mineralogy in France and Belgium and working across Saudi Arabia and Thailand. Inspired by Ottoman and Art Deco heritage, he founded his own workshop in Achrafieh in 1993, creating designs that blend tradition and innovation. His award-winning Amal necklace became a symbol of solidarity and hope, while his patented “Selim Mouzannar Round” diamond cut reflects his belief that beauty carries both artistic and moral responsibility. Internationally recognized, Selim’s work continues to merge craftsmanship, heritage, and a vision of peace.
