Lea Majdalani
Lea Majdalani’s carpet is rooted in her lifelong passion for hosting and storytelling. Known for transforming the dining table into a stage of emotion and memory, Lea brings that same sensibility into weaving. Her design takes inspiration from her work in glass and tableware—layered, luminous, and minimalistic—capturing the poetry of everyday rituals. By translating the fragility of glass into the permanence of wool and silk, Lea creates a piece that is both intimate and universal: a canvas for connection, crafted to be lived with.
Lea Majdalani is a Beirut-based designer, entrepreneur, and mother of two, known for infusing storytelling and emotion into the world of tableware. After leaving a career in pharmaceuticals, she founded The Silly Spoon in 2014 to reimagine the culture of hosting. What began as curating exquisite brands soon evolved into her own collections, each inspired by her travels, memories, and the everyday poetry of Beirut. Today, Lea’s creations celebrate craftsmanship, femininity, and the beauty of imperfection, turning the act of gathering around a table into a moment of connection and joy.
