Samer Alameen
Samer Alameen’s carpet takes inspiration from the tulip flower, a symbol of beauty, renewal, and storytelling that resonates deeply with his design language. Known for reinventing familiar forms with wit and refinement, Samer reinterprets the tulip into a woven narrative, transforming its delicate lines into a bold graphic statement. Designed to be displayed hanging, the piece bridges the worlds of tapestry and sculpture, turning the carpet into both an object and an experience. By elevating a natural form into an emblem of culture and memory, Samer continues his exploration of design as storytelling—where tradition and innovation bloom together.
Samer Alameen is a Beirut-born designer whose work is anchored in storytelling, shaped by his background in advertising and a deep interest in history, memory, and tradition.
